With 1100,50 exhibitors from 2020 countries, Intersec 19 kicked off at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the world's largest international security, safety and firefighting trade fair from January 21 to <>.

Mohammed Al Dhanhani, Director of Registration and Permits, told Al Ain News that Dubai Municipality offers an integrated program to monitor occupational safety requirements in public places, noting that the municipality reviews a number of specialized devices in security and safety procedures.

Mohammed Al-Khalifa, General Manager of Khalifa Metal Industries Factory in Saudi Arabia, told Al Ain News that the company is reviewing fire extinguishing devices and boxes and all firefighting supplies in various types of residential and commercial buildings.

Khalid Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) Security Professionals Association, told Al Ain News that the association will be officially launched during Intersec this year, as the association represents a link between the private security sector and the authorities concerned with issuing laws and legislations.
